Training and Specialism

I have an Advanced Diploma and a Post graduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling - awarded after a professionally accredited five year training. I am a member of BACP and abide by their code of standards and ethics.

My training allows me to tackle most issues, but if I feel I can't help you I will do my best to refer you on. The important thing is that you feel you can trust and open up to me.

My specialist area is loss. This can be bereavement; the loss of a relationship; miscarriage or infertility; or simply the absence of the life you'd hoped for, or the self you'd hoped to be. A small loss now can sometimes bring up greater losses from early on in our lives, so suddenly we can be overcome with a sense of internal deprivation.
